Strengthening Youth Sports: VR-Bank Junior Soccer Cup of FC Coburg

Supporting youth sports is very important to us. For this reason, the Joachim Baumann Foundation supports the VR-Bank Junior Soccer Cup of FC Coburg as a sponsor. For many years, the tournament has been one of the highest-quality youth indoor tournaments in the region and offers young talents an important stage.

On January 24 and 25, the HUK-COBURG arena once again became a venue for top-level youth football. At the 9th Vestekicker VR-Bank Junior Soccer Cup, youth teams from all over Germany showcased their skills. For the first time, FC Basel took part as an international guest from Switzerland, underlining the growing importance of the tournament.

Teams from renowned youth academies – including FC Augsburg, 1. FC Union Berlin, TSV 1860 Munich, Dynamo Dresden, Borussia Mönchengladbach, TSG Hoffenheim and many others – delivered passionate football and thrilled spectators with exciting matches.

Commitment to Youth Sports

Our financial support flows directly into the youth development work of FC Coburg and helps create optimal conditions for the athletic and personal development of young players. We believe in supporting initiatives where long-term impact is achieved.

During the tournament, we were also visibly present with a large banner inside the arena and one of our Verpalinchen vehicles positioned at the main entrance, highlighting our close connection to the region and youth football.

The VR-Bank Junior Soccer Cup is more than just a sporting event. It stands for community, hospitality and enthusiasm for youth football. Particularly impressive was the strong commitment of the entire FC Coburg club family. Parents, volunteers and supporters contributed to the friendly atmosphere and ensured a smooth organization.
