Start of Training 2025: 17 Young Talents at Verpa
(Locations: Weidhausen & Gunzenhausen)
At the beginning of September, it was once again time to say “A warm welcome” to our new apprentices in Gunzenhausen and Weidhausen: 8 young talents started in Gunzenhausen, 9 in Weidhausen, and were warmly welcomed at both locations.
A Warm Welcome to Apprentices at Verpa
In Weidhausen, the management team – André, Susanne, and Max Baumann together with Thomas Grebner – as well as Sandra Englich welcomed the new team members and provided exciting insights into our family-oriented corporate culture and our values of innovation, sustainability, and quality. Parents were also invited to get to know their children’s future workplace and gain a behind-the-scenes look at everyday working life.
Alongside a detailed company presentation and a tour of the plant, both parents and apprentices had the chance to meet the contacts from each department. A special highlight for our new apprentices were their school cones (“Schultüten”) and the Verpalin collection shirts and sweaters – symbolic gifts marking the start of this new chapter in their lives.
A Successful Start and Recognition of Top Apprentices
Another highlight was the recognition of the best apprentices from the 2nd and 3rd year of training. Honoring these outstanding achievements is very close to our hearts and serves as great motivation for the new apprentices to begin their journey at Verpa with dedication and passion.
The first day in Weidhausen was rounded off with freshly baked pizza from the company’s own pizza oven – a perfect start to a successful collaboration.
