Start of Training 2024: Welcome to the Verpalin Family!
Location: Weidhausen & Gunzenhausen
The start of training in 2024 marks a special moment for us at Verpa: This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming a total of 21 new trainees to our locations in Gunzenhausen and Weidhausen. In Gunzenhausen, 15 young talents began their journey, while in Weidhausen, six motivated trainees experienced their first day at Verpa Folie, the specialist for innovative and sustainable film packaging.

A Family-like and Motivating Start
Our first day in Weidhausen was made truly special with a warm welcome from our management team to the new trainees and their parents. In addition to an in-depth company presentation and a tour of our plant, parents had the chance to meet their children’s mentors and gain insights into our daily operations. The day was perfectly rounded off with freshly prepared pizza from our in-house pizza oven – a culinary highlight and the perfect start to a successful journey together.
A Strong Team for the Future
With this year’s new additions, our teams in Gunzenhausen and Weidhausen have grown to a total of 46 trainees, all contributing to our vision of an innovative and sustainable future. Across eight locations, 618 dedicated employees now work every day to continue establishing Verpa as one of the most sustainable and innovative film manufacturers in the industry.
