Mid-Year Meeting of Department Heads 2025 – Exchange, Outlook, and New Beginnings
Shaping the Future, Growing Together: At the mid-year meeting of our department heads on July 22 and 23, 2025, the focus was on strategic topics, current developments, and an employee-oriented corporate culture. After a productive day of work, the historic old town of Bamberg provided the perfect setting for a relaxed and enjoyable evening.
Inspiring Start and Clear Future Goals
In a motivating atmosphere, we reflected on our achievements, discussed current developments, and set strategic directions for the future. The morning began with reports from the departments, followed by discussions about goals, values, and key investments.
Investments, Employee Development, and Open Communication
Alongside projects such as the new 5-shift extrusion plant, the network launch of SaVer, and an additional printing machine, the focus was on our employees: everyone has the opportunity to take on leadership roles. Flat hierarchies and direct communication between management, department heads, and teams shape our culture – and this will become even more important going forward. In an increasingly automated world, we see communication as the key to genuine collaboration, mutual support, and growth.
Cultural Highlight and Shared Evening
In the afternoon, we explored historic Bamberg on a city tour – from the Old Town Hall and the picturesque old town to the Cathedral Square. The day concluded with good food and lively conversation at the traditional Spezial-Keller. Accommodation was at the stylish Hotel Residenzschloss, with a shared breakfast on Wednesday marking the conclusion of the meeting.
