GreenLife Days in Poland
Location: Wroclaw
On May 15 and 16, 2025, the third edition of the GreenLife Days took place at our site in Wroclaw. The event was fully dedicated to the topics of sustainable packaging, innovation, and adaptation to future legal requirements within the framework of the PPWR. Our guests enjoyed two days filled with inspiring presentations, lively discussions, and fascinating insights into ecological packaging solutions.
The focus was on the key challenges facing the packaging industry in light of the upcoming PPWR requirements, the safety of plastic packaging, recycling and the circular economy, as well as ESG reporting. Together with the participants, we discussed practical solutions and possible adjustments in production and packaging and invited them to a plant tour in Krępicach. The high level of participation and the open atmosphere enabled an intensive and enriching exchange across industry boundaries.
Particularly valuable was the expertise of numerous specialists, which we were able to bring together thanks to the support of the CPG – Creative Packaging Group cluster:
-
Ewa Zamościńska (CSRinfo) introduced the topic of ESG reporting and demonstrated in practice how responsible and sustainable development can be implemented and transparently reported.
-
Konrad Nowakowski (PIOiRO) presented the PPWR regulation as an important, though demanding, step towards more environmentally friendly packaging and addressed the challenges of the circular economy and extended producer responsibility (EPR).
-
Jakub Teler (Maruszkin Law Firm) provided up-to-date information on PPWR requirements, timelines, and detailed conditions for different packaging categories.
-
Katarzyna Krzakiewicz (J.S. Hamilton) highlighted the importance of safety testing and certifications for packaging – a key factor in light of new regulations and the growing share of PCR secondary raw materials.
The third edition of the GreenLife Days in May 2025 once again demonstrated how crucial the exchange of knowledge and experience is within the industry. The event provides a platform where companies and experts can jointly discuss concrete paths towards greater sustainability and a circular economy.
