Family Time at Verpa: An Unforgettable Day for Young and Old

On Repentance Day, it was that time again – our traditional Family Day brought children’s laughter and creative chaos into our halls. For many years, we’ve used this day, when schools are closed, to put our employees and their families at the center of attention. This year, the event took place in Weidhausen, and the enthusiasm was enormous.
A Colorful Program for Young and Old
The children of our employees had an exciting opportunity to get a glimpse into their parents’ world of work. During a factory tour, they learned about the fascinating journey “from granulate to film” and even had the chance to choose the color of the film themselves at the mini-extruder. The program was complemented by a foosball tournament organized by our apprentices, as well as creative activities like painting and crafting.
For those with a sense of adventure, there were highlights such as driving a truck and forklift – an unforgettable experience for the little guests. And of course, a thrilling Verpalin Film Researcher Puzzle was also part of the fun.
Culinary Delights for Little Hearts
We also made sure to take care of everyone’s appetite: From pretzels and croissants to fruits and vegetables, all the way to pizza and a giant ice cream freezer – we offered everything that makes children’s eyes shine.
A Day of Togetherness
Our Family Day was not only an experience for the children but also for their relatives – whether parents, siblings, grandparents, or godparents. While the children enjoyed the varied program, the parents were also able to get some work done in the meantime. The integration of work and family life worked harmoniously, bringing many happy faces.
Next year, our Family Day will take place again in Gunzenhausen, as it traditionally alternates between our locations. We are already looking forward to creating another unforgettable day for our employees and their families.
