An Inspiring Discussion on the Future of Sustainability and Industry
We recently had the pleasure of welcoming Barbara Fuchs (Member of the Bavarian State Parliament) to our site, where she gained in-depth insights into our production processes.
During her visit, we engaged in a productive exchange about our sustainable innovations and the challenges facing the industry. Her visit provided a valuable opportunity to present our vision for an economically and environmentally sustainable future in manufacturing.
“Coming from a business background myself,” Barbara Fuchs, MdL, began our conversation – and her expertise was evident throughout.
In an in-depth exchange, we not only discussed our concerns regarding the plastic tax, packaging regulations, and other political topics, but also passionately presented our sustainable ideas and how we bring them to life through our Verpalin approach.
Ms. Fuchs was especially impressed by our innovative products and our active implementation of sustainable solutions. She also showed great interest in the German-engineered machinery and equipment we proudly showcased.
The dialogue took place on equal footing and provided us with the opportunity to share many insights, concerns, and ideas.
We are pleased that Ms. Fuchs, in her role as the spokesperson for economic affairs, returns to the state parliament with valuable insights. Her internal connections to the Green Party members in government give us hope that our efforts toward a sustainable and economically viable way of working at our sites in Germany will be met with support.
It is important for us to emphasize that the German Mittelstand is already taking proactive steps toward climate protection. Rather than facing increasing regulation, we hope for support and collaboration to jointly develop effective and sustainable solutions.
