At Verpa, we place great importance on sustainability and social commitment. That’s why we honor our Verpalin Environmental Hero every year – an award to recognize employees who put extraordinary effort into social, ecological, and sustainable projects.
With this award, we want to not only recognize the dedication of our colleagues but also set an example: It is important to foster a culture of commitment and actively show that every individual can contribute to making the world a better place.
Retrospective: Our Environmental Hero Mischa Partosch
Last year, the award went to Mischa Partosch, who with his exceptional efforts became a role model for all of us. Mischa was involved in numerous projects that had a direct and positive impact on our environment. He participated in our tree planting initiatives, collected trash during the “Itz clean” campaign, and also actively contributed on a personal level: As a hunter, he tirelessly advocates for the protection of forests and wildlife. Furthermore, he was part of many other projects aimed at protecting and preserving our environment sustainably.
With this award, we want to not only honor his commitment but also draw attention to the many ways each of us can make a difference.
A Week of Special Leave as Recognition
This year, the Verpalin Environmental Hero will once again be honored. The winner will not only receive the deserved recognition but also a special reward: a whole week of additional leave. With this, we want to express our gratitude and underline our belief that it is worthwhile to work towards a better world.
