Data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator. You can find their contact details in the “Information on the Responsible Party” section of this privacy policy.
How do we collect your data?
Your data is collected, on the one hand, when you provide it to us. This may, for example, be data you enter into a contact form.
Other data is collected automatically or with your consent when you visit the website by our IT systems. This primarily includes technical data (e.g., internet browser, operating system, or time of page access). This data is collected automatically as soon as you enter this website.
What do we use your data for?
Some of the data is collected to ensure the error-free provision of the website. Other data may be used to analyze your user behavior.
What rights do you have regarding your data?
You have the right to obtain information about the origin, recipient, and purpose of your stored personal data free of charge at any time. You also have the right to request the correction or deletion of this data. If you have given your consent to data processing, you can revoke this consent at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right, under certain circumstances, to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. Furthermore, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the responsible supervisory authority.
You can contact us at any time about this and other questions regarding data protection.
Analysis tools and third-party tools
When you visit this website, your browsing behavior may be statistically analyzed. This is done primarily with so-called analysis programs.
Detailed information about these analysis programs can be found in the following privacy policy.
2. Hosting

This website is hosted by an external service provider (hoster). The personal data collected on this website is stored on the hoster’s servers. This may include, in particular, IP addresses, contact requests, meta and communication data, contract data, contact details, names, website accesses, and other data generated via a website.
The hoster is used for the purpose of fulfilling the contract with our potential and existing customers (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR) and in the interest of a secure, fast, and efficient provision of our online offering by a professional provider (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
Our hoster will only process your data to the extent necessary to fulfill its service obligations and will follow our instructions regarding this data.
We use the following hoster:

3. General information and mandatory information
Data protection
The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy.
When you use this website, various personal data is collected. Personal data is data that can be used to identify you personally. This privacy policy explains which data we collect and what we use it for. It also explains how and for what purpose this happens.
We would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g., when communicating by email) may have security gaps. Complete protection of data from access by third parties is not possible.
Note on the responsible party
The responsible body for data processing on this website is:
Verpa Folie Weidhausen GmbH
Mödlitzer Straße 46 / 48
96279 Weidhausen
Martin Fritsch
Phone: +49 9562 9822-0
E-Mail: datenschutz@verpa.de
The responsible body is the natural or legal person who, alone or jointly with others, decides on the purposes and means of processing personal data (e.g., names, email addresses, etc.).
Storage period
Unless a more specific storage period is specified within this privacy policy, your personal data will remain with us until the purpose for data processing no longer applies. If you assert a legitimate request for deletion or revoke your consent to data processing, your data will be deleted unless we have other legally permissible reasons for storing your personal data (e.g., retention periods under tax or commercial law); in the latter case, deletion will occur once these reasons no longer apply.
Note on data transfer to the USA and other third countries
We use, among other things, tools from companies based in the USA or other third countries that do not have secure data protection laws. If these tools are active, your personal data may be transferred to these third countries and processed there. We would like to point out that a level of data protection comparable to that in the EU cannot be guaranteed in these countries. For example, US companies are obligated to disclose personal data to security authorities without you, as the data subject, being able to take legal action. It cannot therefore be ruled out that US authorities (e.g., intelligence agencies) may process, evaluate, and permanently store your data stored on US servers for surveillance purposes. We have no influence over these processing activities.
Revocation of your consent to data processing
Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke your consent at any time. The legality of the data processing carried out up to the time of revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
Right to object to data collection in special cases and to direct marketing (Art. 21 GDPR)
If data processing is based on Article 6 (1) (e) or (f) of the GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time for reasons related to your particular situation; this also applies to profiling based on these provisions. The respective legal basis on which processing is based can be found in this privacy policy. IF YOU OBJECT, WE WILL NO LONGER PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA UNLESS WE CAN PROVE COMPELLING LEGITIMATE GROUNDS FOR THE PROCESSING THAT OVERRIDE YOUR INTERESTS, RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS, OR THE PROCESSING SERVES TO ASSERT, EXERCISE, OR DEFEND LEGAL CLAIMS (OBJECTION PURSUANT TO ARTICLE 21 (1) GDPR).
If your personal data is processed for direct marketing purposes, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you for such marketing purposes; this also applies to profiling insofar as it is associated with such direct marketing. If you object, your personal data will subsequently no longer be used for direct marketing purposes (objection pursuant to Article 21 (2) GDPR).
Right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority
In the event of violations of the GDPR, those affected have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of their habitual residence, place of work, or place of the alleged violation. This right of complaint is without prejudice to other administrative or judicial remedies.
Right to data portability
You have the right to have data that we process automatically based on your consent or in fulfillment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only be done if technically feasible.
SSL or TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this website uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the browser’s address line changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser’s address bar.
If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
Information, Deletion, and Correction
Within the scope of applicable legal provisions, you have the right at any time to obtain free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipient, and the purpose of data processing, as well as the right to rectification or erasure of this data. You can contact us at any time with any questions about this or other issues relating to personal data.
Right to restriction of processing
You have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted. You can contact us at any time to do so. The right to restriction of processing applies in the following cases:
If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data stored by us, we generally need time to verify this. You have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted while we verify your rights.
If the processing of your personal data was/is unlawful, you can request that it be restricted instead of deleted.
If we no longer need your personal data, but you require it to exercise, defend, or assert legal claims, you have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted instead of deleted.
If you have lodged an objection pursuant to Art. 21 (1) GDPR, your interests must be weighed against ours. As long as it is not yet clear whose interests prevail, you have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted.
If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, this data – apart from its storage – may only be processed with your consent or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims or to protect the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of important public interest of the European Union or a Member State.

5. Analysis Tools and Advertising
Matomo (formerly Piwik)
This website uses the open source web analysis service Matomo. Matomo uses technologies that enable cross-page user recognition to analyze user behavior (e.g., cookies or device fingerprinting). The information collected by Matomo about the use of this website is stored on our server. The IP address is anonymized before being saved.
With the help of Matomo, we are able to collect and analyze data about the use of our website by website visitors. This allows us to determine, among other things, when which page views were made and from which region they originate. We also record various log files (e.g., IP address, referrer, browsers and operating systems used) and can measure whether our website visitors perform certain actions (e.g., clicks, purchases, etc.).
The use of this analysis tool is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the anonymized analysis of user behavior in order to optimize both its website and its advertising. If a corresponding consent has been requested (e.g. consent to the storage of cookies), processing will be carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR; consent can be revoked at any time.
IP Anonymization
We use IP anonymization for our analysis with Matomo. This means your IP address is shortened before analysis so that it can no longer be clearly assigned to you.
Hosting
We host Matomo with the following third-party provider:
IT-NETWORKS datentechnik pro GmbH & Co.KG
Stockäcker 10

6. Own Services
Handling of Applicant Data
We offer you the opportunity to apply to us (e.g., by email, post, or via an online application form). Below, we inform you about the scope, purpose, and use of your personal data collected during the application process. We assure you that the collection, processing, and use of your data will be carried out in accordance with applicable data protection law and all other legal provisions, and that your data will be treated with strict confidentiality.
Scope and Purpose of Data Collection
If you send us an application, we will process your associated personal data (e.g., contact and communication details, application documents, notes taken during job interviews, etc.) to the extent necessary to decide whether to establish an employment relationship. The legal basis for this is Section 26 of the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) under German law (initiation of an employment relationship), Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR (general contract initiation), and – if you have given your consent – Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR. Your consent can be revoked at any time. Your personal data will only be passed on within our company to those involved in processing your application.
If your application is successful, the data you submitted will be stored in our data processing systems on the basis of Section 26 of the Federal Data Protection Act and Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR for the purpose of implementing the employment relationship.
Data retention period
If we are unable to make you a job offer, if you reject a job offer, or withdraw your application, we reserve the right to retain the data you have submitted for up to six months from the end of the application process (rejection or withdrawal of the application) based on our legitimate interests (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The data will then be deleted and the physical application documents destroyed. This retention period serves primarily for evidential purposes in the event of a legal dispute. If it is apparent that the data will be required after the six-month period (e.g., due to impending or pending legal proceedings), it will only be deleted when the purpose for further retention no longer applies.
Longer retention may also occur if you have given your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR) or if statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.
Inclusion in the applicant pool
If we do not offer you a job, you may have the opportunity to be included in our applicant pool. If you are accepted, all documents and information from your application will be transferred to the applicant pool so that we can contact you if suitable vacancies arise.
Admission to the applicant pool is based solely on your express consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). Providing your consent is voluntary and has no connection to the ongoing application process. The data subject may revoke their consent at any time. In this case, the data will be irrevocably deleted from the applicant pool unless there are legal reasons for retention.
The data from the applicant pool will be irrevocably deleted no later than two years after consent is granted.
