Verpa says thank you: Honoring our anniversary employees at all locations

Long-standing loyalty and dedication deserve special recognition – at Verpa, it is a lived tradition to honor this. That’s why we regularly celebrate our anniversary employees at all locations, including Weidhausen and Gunzenhausen, and together we commemorate their impressive milestones. Whether it’s 10 or 45 years of service – behind every number is a personal story and a valuable contribution that has shaped Verpa. At the same time, we also bid farewell to our newly retired employees, thanking them for their years of dedication and tireless commitment.

A special milestone

This year was especially significant: Our managing directors André Baumann and Susanne Baumann celebrated their 25th work anniversary. Another highlight was the honoring of our company founder Renate Baumann, as well as Peter Griebel, who has been with the company since day one – both of whom look back on an impressive 45 years of Verpa history.

Celebrating together, remembering together

Our celebrations in Weidhausen and Gunzenhausen began with a warming mulled wine reception, after which André Baumann delivered a heartfelt speech, personally acknowledging each anniversary employee. With deep appreciation, he reflected on their individual stories and achievements, recalled shared experiences, and thanked everyone for their trust, loyalty, and tireless efforts. His words made it clear that at Verpa, it’s not just about years of service, but the people behind them – colleagues who have shaped Verpa with their commitment and connection.

After the formal recognition, the celebration continued with a Franconian-Bavarian buffet featuring dumplings and flambéed turkey. In a convivial atmosphere, laughter was shared, toasts were made, and memories were exchanged well into the evening. On nights like these, it’s palpable that Verpa is not just a company, but a family.
