At our Sustainability Days, we not only prove this again and again, but also invite our customers to continue optimizing their product packaging and internal processes with us. In addition to valuable raw materials, we also save CO2, reduce costs and ultimately bring everything together in a cycle in our well-thought-out Verpa ReLease concept. Guaranteed awesome. For us and our environment.
On June 25, 2024, we welcomed almost 20 customers to another sustainability event in our innovation workshop at Verpa GmbH. This special day was entirely dedicated to the topic of sustainability and offered a platform for intensive exchange about environmentally friendly and future-oriented strategies in the packaging industry.
Our guests were brought up to date through a series of informative lectures. Among other things, we presented our strategies, which aim to make our company more environmentally friendly, sustainable and future-proof. A central topic was the presentation of our innovative ReLease circulation system. This offers our customers the opportunity to compress their used packaging films on site and then have them picked up by our employees and recycled according to type. This not only saves costs and long transport routes, but also makes processing easier and ensures high-quality and sustainable products. Our customers received valuable insights into how they can actively use our release system and benefit from it.
A special highlight of the day was the lecture by Dr. Martin Engelmann, a renowned expert and representative of the IK Industrial Association for Plastic Packaging e.V. Dr. Engelmann provided detailed information about the current status of the packaging regulations, which led to a lively exchange and numerous questions among our guests. His comments highlighted the challenges and opportunities that the legislation holds for our industry and gave our customers valuable information on how they can optimally prepare for upcoming changes.
The Sustainability Day not only offered a space for knowledge transfer, but also an excellent opportunity to enter into dialogue with our customers. During the breaks and in the evening, numerous lively conversations arose in which ideas were exchanged and experiences were shared. It was inspiring to see how committed and motivated our customers are to change the world of packaging together with us through innovative and sustainable approaches.
Our sustainability events are an important pillar in finding ways together with our customers to balance environmental protection with efficiency and high product quality.
The event was once again a great success and we would like to thank all participants for their interest and valuable contributions. Together we are working to make the packaging industry greener and more sustainable – for a better future. We are already looking forward to the next event and to further deepening our partnerships and breaking new ground for sustainable innovations.
